Andy has long been a proponent of ’80s music and anyone who has heard him passionately sing “Eye of the Tiger” can attest to his virtuousity. Michael Buczkowski said, “It was like a bolt of lightning hit me in crotch.”

Well I have been lagging on coming up with a new soundtrack to do, so I decided to go with my idea of making a top list of epic tracks. One of my favorite things about making this list was seeing how varied each track was from system to system and game to series.

Placing this soundtrack at fourth was an incredibly difficult task because I have long held this to be THE greatest soundtrack ever made. The game itself pushed the bar on video games because of its use of cut-scenes and there’s an excellent track behind each one. If there’s any two composers that deserve recognition (or at least a wikipedia page) it’s More Yamasan and B. Hasake.
