Tune in to OCremix’s Eevee EP!

Well I just wanted to drop a blurb about the latest release from OCremix so no one missed it. It is called the Eevee EP and it’s fantastic. It departs from retro a bit because the remixes span the original series up to the newer games, but it’s worth every breach of protocol. There’s a total of 9 tracks and every one of them is excellent. Each evolution of Eevee is given a song plus Eevee him/herself.

Sonicesque

Well the last thing I would have thought about doing lately was putting up a new article on Continue? – sorry guys – but that was until I heard the latest album out by Karl Brueggemann. I had no idea what to expect when I downloaded “Sonicesque vol.1”, Karl posted it himself to the ffshrine forums – where I directed my recent article about a vg music canon – and he billed it as he had twiddled around with the sega vst:  so it would sound like new, classic sonic. He was also nice enough to answer a few interview questions, so check that out inside too!

The War of Mascots

Well it seems like reddit is playing host to a barrage of video game characters appearing all over the word on windows and walls in post it notes and chalk. Whether it’s Sonic or Mario, every post seems to be snowballing into yet another picture appearing. Leading to a few back and forth battles turning… musical?, and also inspiring an entire group of engineering students to post it an entire building face. I just wonder where this will go from here.
